Addicted to Details

I tend to be a detail oriented person. I find that when I’m taking pictures, I’m always looking up close trying to show the person looking at my photos the amazing little details I’m seeing in real life. When I go off to take photos with my son, I notice he is more likely to look at the bigger picture. The overall view. Not that that means either of us doesn’t occasionally do the opposite, just that, in general, I’m looking at the details and he’s looking at the whole picture.

If you’re like me, you’ll find yourself amazed at the close up view of a flower or bug, or even a wall. Sometimes, I find myself thinking how different life would look if I was a tiny person sitting in the middle of a flower. Yeah, I’m that crazy. I used to love Thumbelina and The Borrowers books when I was growing up. Imagining what life would be like if I was a little tiny person in a world of bigger people…

Come, follow me through a world of amazing details!
