Shades of Green

I’m blessed to live in the Pacific Northwest where it’s very green. While I love how green it is around here, in order to get all that greenness there’s also a lot of rain. Like, Way Too Much rain! I find myself noticing and drawn to green things even when I’m not in Oregon, and perhaps because there are different green things than what I see in Oregon, I take lots of photos of green plants. In honor of St. Patrick’s day, I thought I’d share a few.

What kind of plant is creating the arch in your “Through the Arch” image? I have a green thumb and would love to do this in my yard!

I’m not sure what the plant is. It was growing beside the sidewalk in Santa Monica, CA.
