With Mother’s day just around the corner, if you haven’t yet figured out what you’re getting for mom, here are some great ideas under $100 for mom. Of course, it helps if you know what kind of stuff your own mom likes. My mom tends to ask for things like cheap cologne (perfume) and powder and lotion all the time. And sometimes bird seed. Yep. You heard me right. She has actually put that on Christmas/Birthday lists before so she can feed the birds. And then she goes and buys all the stuff that would actually make cool gifts to give her for herself, so all we’re left to buy are the same few things over and over again. Makes for a hard time shopping for her!
So happy shopping for mom this week. If you’re really still stuck by the end of the week, there’s always flowers and chocolates! 😉
And Happy Mother’s Day to all you mom’s out there! I hope you’re spoiled rotten by your family this coming weekend.
This year, for Mother’s Day, I made my mom a silly book from photos I took a few years ago of her magnetic frog named Froggy that normally resides on her fridge, who I kidnapped and photographed for one whole month. I found this great website where I could put all of these photos together with captions to make a little story book out of my photos. I’ve thought of doing something like this before in the years since I took all of these photos, but I didn’t know I could actually make a little book out of them. I figured I’d have to just do a photo album. I was pleasantly surprised to find a website that had all the tools to make my very own book and create my own story line for all of my silly photos of my mom’s frog. Today, after I give the book to my mom for Mother’s Day, I thought I’d give you a peek at some of the photos.
