I’m learning there’s some truth to these cold shoulder tops leaving you with actual cold shoulders if it’s not a nice warm day. We are having a particularly cold spring and let me tell ya, my little shoulder was feeling cold the day we took these photos! But, warmer weather is coming! Tomorrow, I hear. And without having had any 70 degree weather, we’re going to jump right into the 80’s for a few days. Cause that’s how we roll in Portland!
I love the little bow detail on the cold shoulder. And the bell sleeves are so in right now! Red is definitely one of my colors, too! There is a bit of shimmer to this top as well, but you can’t really see it in these photos. This top would be perfect for 60 and low 70 degree weather, but not so much if it’s any hotter than that as it’s a sweater. I have another off-shoulder top I keep putting on and taking off for a warmer shirt because it’s been way to cold to have my poor shoulders hanging out this spring. I just can’t bring myself to wear it indoors or outdoors yet because I just want to be warm. I know. I’m a cold weather wimp. I’m okay with that.

I’m going to end Fashion Friday on a casual note with this shimmery purple tee. I got this at Kohl’s for only .60¢. Yep. You heard me right. Less than a dollar. I love the silver threads in this pale purple shirt. I’m not sure pale purple is my color, but I love the color and the shimmer nonetheless.
*If you do click the link to the website, you’ll notice the item costs more there than the price I found for it in the stores. I believe it was 80% off in the stores and is only 60% off on the website. Just head to your nearest Kohl’s – you may find it for less on the in-store clearance racks.
How did I do it? Again, I had a Kohl’s coupon for five dollars off anything in the store. This was on the clearance racks. I also believe I had a 15% off, but read the price tag wrong and thought the item I was getting was exactly five dollars, so didn’t use the 15% off thinking this item would be totally free, but could have saved another whopping .09¢ if I’d used it. I was too surprised I was paying anything to be quick enough on the draw to get my additional .09¢ off as well. In this case, it wasn’t a big deal, but if it had made a bigger difference and hadn’t gotten applied, then I wouldn’t hesitate to march back to the customer service and get my 15% off as well. Yeah. I’m that cheap. But not quite cheap enough to go back and adjust the .09¢ off my receipt. There’s cheap, then there’s super cheap. I am not quite at the super cheap level yet. Ha.
