As the year ends, tradition dictates we all reflect on the past year. I really don’t feel like it. My wonderful job as an Influencer ended, my marriage is failing, a friend committed suicide. Somehow I look back on the end of the year and still don’t know where my future is, so I really don’t want to keep reflecting on the past year and the way it’s ending. Instead, I bolster my spirits finding new sayings to pin on Pinterest onto my Words of Wisdom board that encourage me to go forth boldly into the great unknown of a new year. Does anyone else do that? I’m sure I’m not the only one who pins things to encourage myself, whether it’s sayings or food I think I’m going to make, projects I think I’m going to do, things that make me laugh, things I want, places I want to go… That’s the draw of Pinterest. An online pin board to pin all of our hopes, ideas and dreams on. Because in the end, our hopes & dreams are what keep us going. For me, I’m ready to throw 2015 into the trash and step forth into the new year and whatever it has to offer me!
Is is the journey that matters in the end. Ernest Hemingway
If we wait until we’re ready, we’ll be waiting for the rest of our lives.
Success and failure are not overnight experiences; it’s all the small decisions along the way that cause people to fail or succeed. ~ Tony Robbins
Where there’s a will there’s a way.
Life is like an ever-shifting kaleidescope – a slight change, and all the patterns alter. ~ Sharon Salzberg
Your deepest, most perfect happiness will be found within, and once you find it, nothing exterior to your Self can destroy it. – Neale Donald Walsch
I always enjoy taking photos of my cats around the holidays. By the tree, in the wreath, near the lights. With Santa hats on, or bows if they’ll let me. The always seem to make the season brighter with their cute little inquisitive faces. And I enjoy looking through photos of everyone else’s Christmas cats as well. Here’s to the pets that make our lives merrier! These were some of my favorites cat photos this year. Merry Christmas to all!
