Do you have a Mother’s Day brunch planned for you mother this year? Or a church brunch, family brunch, friends to get together with for a Mother’s Day tea or brunch? Here’s some ideas on what to wear for a Mother’s Day brunch!
~ Flowers are always in because Mother’s Day is in spring and mother’s love flowers. Or most do. So bring out your floral tops, skirts and dresses.
~ Pastels are still in, because, again, spring.
~ Casual but cute is always a good way to go because brunch is not as formal as a dinner. Why not wear those comfortable jeans with a nice blouse and nice shoes?
~ Cute accessories. Purses, earrings, necklaces, ect. I’m not really big into bracelets because they really bug me flopping around on my arm for some reason, yet I wear my watch every day even though I can now look at my phone for the time, and it doesn’t bug me at all. Huh. Not sure what’s up with that.
~ A maxi skirt or dress is another cute but stylish way to go.
~ Cold shoulder tops and ruffle or bell sleeves are pretty in right now. Just be careful not to get those big bell sleeves in your plate of food!
~ Capri’s and a cute tee are another fun way to go.
~ Throw on a lightweight cardigan or a cute jacket just in case it’s too cool wherever you’re having brunch and you’re good to go!
I’m looking at the skirt in the photos below thinking I would probably end up getting food all over it. Perhaps denim is a better way to go. They say jeans never get dirty, right? (Unless they’re white or pale colored ones. Ha.)
Have I mentioned that I like big buns and I cannot lie?
