Super soft chenille sweater

This chenille sweater, you guys. So soft. I walked by it on a clearance rack at Charlotte Russe, it looked soft, so I reached out and touched it. Or the pink version of this sweater. I immediately picked it up.Then traded it for the blue when I realized I already have a soft pink sweater.  It was an additional 40% of the clearance price, so I got it for a little over $7. Score! I love getting a good deal on anything. Clearance racks are my jam!

This is not the first time I’ve walked by something made from a super soft material and immediately knew I had to have it. If it looks soft, I have to feel the softness. If it’s on someone I may even ask if I can touch it. Can’t. Resist. Softness. My poor soft kitties know this. They see me coming and run. Well, maybe not the bigger of the two kitties, she’s too lazy to run, but the other one does. They are softness personified.

Does anyone else do this with things that look soft? Or am I the only one? I can’t be the only one. Somebody out there also reaches out to touch soft looking things. I just know it.

It has been super cold this week, and for some reason, we ended up by the river in Troutdale taking these photos. Even colder there with the wind whipping down the river. I am so ready for winter to be over. Just say no to snow from now on out! March starts tomorrow and I’m asking the snow to please go away now. Spring is almost here. The time for snow is passing. Move along already.

Since this chenille sweater is on clearance, I’ve linked up a couple more that look just like it below.

Asymmetrical black and white dress – #fashionfriday

So loving this Asymmetrical black and white sundress! This item was a one size fits all item that really did actually fit me well. I’m so excited when that happens!

Made of a lightweight nylon material, it only had light wrinkles on it. The white edging seemed to be where most of the wrinkles were. No care instructions were on this item, so I carefully ironed it inside out with the heat turned to just above medium. Since the dress is a bit thin, I did have on my seamless underwear, but wasn’t thinking about that when I put on my low back bra. The bottom edge of that was showing a bit depending on how I was standing, and I didn’t even realize it until I saw the photos later on.

It was a bit windy when I went out in this dress, and all I can say is: What a fun dress! The back billows and blows out behind you if you can catch the wind just right. So, of course, I was trying to catch the wind ‘just so’ in hopes of getting the dress to fly out behind me. I’m sure if it was a super blustery day, you’d have to watch out for it flying up too high, but I didn’t have that problem at all when I wore it.
